Youth privacy notice
Young people's information gets extra care.
This covers WITF! (We Influence The Future), youth versions of StackScore, and any other work we do with people under 18.
Parents and guardians come first
- Only a parent or guardian can sign a young person up for a program or a study. We ask for the guardian's contact details, not the young person's.
- We don't email or message young people directly unless their guardian has agreed.
- No research data is collected from a young person without a guardian's written consent and approval from a university ethics board.
StackScore in group sessions
When young people use StackScore in a session run by a facilitator, they answer with a participant code, not their name or email. Results are used to help the group reflect. They are never used for grading, ranking, hiring or admissions.
Placements and host sites
When WITF! places a teen with a host, the host signs an agreement first. Every Fellow has a named mentor, and mentors are background-checked. We share only what the host needs to run the placement, and only with the guardian's consent.
Photos, names and stories
We only publish a young person's photo, name, words or work with written permission from their guardian, and the young person's own agreement. Either of them can ask us to take it down at any time.
What we never do
- We never sell young people's information or share it with sponsors, employers or advertisers.
- We never show young people advertising.
Children under 13
This site is not meant for children under 13 to use on their own, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them online. If you think a child has sent us information, write to us and we'll delete it.
Questions or requests
A parent or guardian can ask to see, correct or delete their young person's information at any time by writing to hello@itsabundant.com. Our general privacy notice covers everything else.
