Research · join a study

Help shape how we study the future.

We're planning two research studies: one on how teams notice change and act on it, and one on how people of all ages think about the future. We'd love to stay in touch.

01 What we want to learn

How far ahead do you look?

Drag the horizon. The questions change as the future gets further away.

Next year

What will change in your work?

Budgets, plans and goals usually live here.

This is the kind of question the study will ask: how far ahead people look, and what they picture when they do. Nothing you do here is recorded.

02 Before you sign up

Five things to know.

What you're signing up for
Permission for us to contact you later about two research studies on how people and teams think about the future. That's all.
What we're not doing today
Collecting research data. There is no survey or assessment on this page.
It's optional
Signing up has nothing to do with hiring, talent matching or anything else at any event. Your details stay with It's Abundant! and are never shared with sponsors or employers.
What happens next
Once a university ethics board approves the studies, we'll email you the details and you decide then. You can unsubscribe any time.
Signing up for a young person?
Parents and guardians can sign up here to hear about the youth study. We will not contact young people directly.

Adults 18 and over. See our privacy notice and youth privacy notice.

03 Our research base

What StackScore is built on.

StackScore and the 5-minute check draw on three bodies of research. They are still in development and have not been independently validated. That is what the studies are for.

Joseph Voros; Andy Hines and Peter Bishop

Foresight practice

How futurists look for change, picture several possible futures and turn them into choices today.

Martha Nussbaum

The capability approach

Judging progress by what people are actually able to do and become, not only by what they have.

David Teece

Dynamic capabilities

How organizations notice change, act on new chances and reshape themselves to keep up.

04 Papers and updates

Nothing published yet.

When the studies are approved, and when we have findings to share, they will be posted here first.

People on the sign-up list hear about them before anyone else.
